6A new innovative product by Lodi! This product contains 5 soluble sachets with each one containing 1.99% Cypermethrin. One sachet dilutes perfectly down to 1 litre of very powerful insecticide. A high residual product which works against the majority of flying and crawling insects. Ideal against pests such as
ants, cockroaches, fleas, flies, mosquitoes, wasps, bed bugs, beetles, moths and silverfish. Use directly on the pest or apply on surfaces including walls, floors, doors, carpets, patios, brick paving, tarmac, steps etc.
Very simple to use!
For ant control:
For ants simply place 1 soluble sachet in the plastic spray bottle provided, and add warm water, Wait 2 minutes and you are ready to treat.
1 For ants in the home, spray either directly on the ant or strategically around potential food sources. Around bin areas and compost heaps etc. Follow the trail of workers ants back to the nest, and where possible spray directly onto the nest itself.
2 For ants in the garden, pierce a hole into the nest itself and pour liberally down the pierced hole.
For beetle control:
For beetles simply place 1 soluble sachet in the plastic spray bottle provided, and add warm water, wait 2 minutes and you are ready to treat.
1 With beetles it is important to find the source of the infestation. Once this has been achieved spray around the edges of the area and its surrounding area.
For carpet beetles:
At the moment carpet beetles are a particular problem, but fear not, treatment is somewhat straightforward and easy! For carpet beetles we do recommend the use of mini smoke generators because using the Pest Clear soluble sachets.
1 Smoke bomb the room where the infestation is. Wait 2 hours.
2 Place 1 soluble sachet in the plastic spray bottle provided, and add warm water, Wait 2 minutes and you are ready to treat.
3 Carpet beetles love the finer things in life. Wools, silks, anything natural. It is not the beetle that actually causes the damage it is the larvae, with carpet beetles this is known as the 'Wolly Bear.' They look like tiny grains of rice and are around 2-3 mm long. Often found underneath heavy furniture and around pot plants etc (anywhere where the vacuum doesn't get too!). Spray liberally directly in and around this area. If possible lift the carpet and spray the underneath, if not possible, spray slightly more on the surface. The product is none staining, and therefore ideal for use onto carpets and furniture.
For cockroach control:
1 When treating for cockroaches we recommend using this product in conjunction with traps and a dusting powder.
2 Use traps to monitor the infestation. Remember when using traps, if you catch one on the trap, don't be eager to throw the trap away. It will continue to work and will catch plenty more.
3 Use a dusting powder around heavy furniture, for example fridge-freezers, dishwashers, or around the airing cupboard. A dust has a very long residual so getting to these hard to reach places occurs only only during treatment.
4 Then place 1 of the soluble sachets in the plastic spray bottle provided, and add warm water. Wait 2 minutes, shake and you are ready to treat.
5 With cockroaches, spray around the edges of the room, and in cracks and crevices.
6 Retreat in approximately 4 weeks
Please note that this product has a high residual. This means that it will continue to work weeks after its initial treatment, so refrain from vacuuming and cleaning up the product.
For flea control:
1 Firstly we highly recommend using mini smoke generators. This will kill all the adults that are out of hiding. A fast, instant kill which will reduce the numbers instantly! A flea kit is available from here, which combines both products.
2 Then place 1 of the soluble sachet in the plastic spray bottle provided, and add warm water. Wait 2 minutes, shake, and you are ready to treat.
3 With fleas, spray around the edges of the room and in cracks and crevices.
4 Retreat in approximately 4 weeks
For moth control:
There are two main types of common moth pests in the UK and they attack either wools and carpets, the common clothes moth, or grains or cereals, the stored product moth.
We recommend that you look at purchasing the demi-diamond traps and pheromone attractant pads to monitor and attract the unwanted moth pest.
1 You can look at using the mini smoke generators as an initial fogging treatment
2 Place the demi-diamond traps and pads in and around the infested areas
3 Then place 1 of the soluble sachet in the plastic spray bottle provided, and add warm water. Wait 2 minutes, shake, and you are ready to treat.
4 Spray around the room, around window frames, skirting boards, in cupboards (focusing on the edges) and amongst the cracks and crevices.
Also to be used against bed bugs, flies, mosquitoes, wasps, silverfish, woodworm and other crawling and flying insects!
