Easy to bait the rat trap:

Simply place the rat trap at right angles to the rat run or wall, with the treadle next to the run or wall.

Bait with Provoke Rat Attractant and do not set and leave for one week.

Renew the rat trap with the Provoke Rat Attractant and set the rat trap.

To set the rat trap place it in your left hand pulling back the square with the right hand and placing left thumb of the square. Place the lever over square with right hand and slide the treadle hole on to the lever. Gradually release pressure of the square with left thumb and place the rat trap in position on the floor, taking care to keep fingers out of the striking zone.
