Bird Netting
Bird nets produce a physical barrier so birds are not able to perch or roost at your property. The bird kits include everything required for a standard bird net installation, including all the tools, equipment and fixings. The bird netting can come in its default colour (black), stone and translucent. It can also come in ‘no-flame’, which means it doesn’t burn!
Bird netting is one of the most popular methods of bird control. Its suitable for all levels of bird infestation, its versatile, discreet, durable and humane. All bird nets are manufactured from knotted polyethylene. It doesn’t absorb water, it doesn’t stretch, and its chemically inert.
The principle of the bird net is that a highly tensioned wire rope is fitted around the perimeter of the net. The wire rope is then anchored using corner brackets, which takes the weight of the net, and lighter intermediate fittings hold the wire close to the structure being proofed. The bird net is then attached to the wire.
